The following, which was advanced to third reading from the April 21,                               
2006, calendar (page 3263), was read the third time:                                                
                                                                                                    
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 273(RLS) am                                                               
    "An Act relating to the dividends of certain individuals claiming                               
    allowable absences; and providing for an effective date."                                       
                                                                                                    
Representative Lynn moved and asked unanimous consent that                                          
CSHB 273(RLS) am be returned to second reading for the specific                                     
purpose of considering Amendment No. 1.  There being no objection,                                  
it was so ordered.

    Insert ", together with interest,"                                                              
                                                                                                    
Page 4, line 6, following "(10) - (13).":                                                           
 Insert "The department shall adopt regulations under AS 44.62                                      
(Administrative Procedure Act) that establish a reasonable rate of                                  
interest for a dividend that is paid on a delayed basis under this
